Hi, I am Andrew, an LSE student reading history. I am a strong believer that anyone who has the right guidance and a way into a topic or subject can achieve the very best grades. Similarly, with universities I believe that my experience of getting an offer at London’s best university (8 applications per place), according to the Complete University Guide and The Times, shows the strength of my approach. As a fully qualified Tennis Coach I have considerable experience in coaching people and in communicating effectively with people, all of whom learn in different ways. Coaching tennis has taught me important time management skills, when balancing that with academic work. I achieved 10 A* at GCSE (5 at Grade 8; 5 at Grade 9) and achieved 2 A* in History and in Economics and an A in Politics at A Level. I am particularly keen to help A Level Economics student who may struggle with the longer essay response questions, especially if they come from a STEM background where essays are not the norm for assessment. I am also interested in helping A Level History and Politics students. Likewise, I feel that I have much to offer GCSE students in Geography and History where I achieved two grade 9s. Moreover, I am also happy to help with university applications and to offer guidance over which course is best suited. I am happy to adapt to whichever learning style suits you best. My experience with coaching and three years tutoring has helped me to become very adaptable.
